Ceruvin 75mg (active ingredient: Clopidogrel) is used to:
Prevent blood clots in patients at risk of:
Heart attack (myocardial infarction)
Ischemic stroke
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
In combination with aspirin for:
Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), including:
Unstable angina
Non–ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI)
ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI)
Dosage: Take one 75 mg tablet daily.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not chew, crush, or break.
With or Without Food: Can be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it's close to the time for the next dose; do not double the dose.
Precautions:
Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Avoid alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of side effects.
Inform your doctor if you are scheduled for surgery or dental procedures.
Side Effects: Common side effects include bleeding, bruising, nosebleeds, and gastrointestinal disturbances.
