Insulation Resistance (Megger) Test: We measure the "health" of the internal copper windings. In Malaysia’s humid climate, moisture can seep into the motor casing, causing a short-circuit. If the resistance is low, we perform a "Bake-out" and revarnishing to restore the insulation.
Bearing Replacement & Lubrication: A "high-pitched" squeal or a "grinding" noise is a sign that the bearings are failing. We replace worn bearings with high-load, moisture-sealed units and use specialized high-temperature grease that won't liquefy in the tropical heat.
Dynamic Balancing & Alignment: If the motor is vibrating, it will eventually crack the cooling tower's fiberglass (FRP) mounting beams. We use laser tools to ensure the motor shaft is perfectly aligned with the gearbox or fan hub, eliminating the "Side-Loading" that destroys bearings.
