Does the type of network cable really matter?
Yes, significantly. For the full 60-meter reach, you must use high-quality Solid Copper CAT6 cable. Using Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) or lower-grade CAT5e will drastically reduce the maximum distance and may cause signal flickering or a complete loss of image.
Will there be a delay (latency) in the video?
This extender uses high-speed hardware processing to transmit the signal, resulting in near-zero latency. It is suitable for watching movies and standard television, though extremely competitive gamers may notice a negligible millisecond difference compared to a direct connection.
Why isn't there a picture on my 60M run?
Check your cable terminations (RJ45 pins). This device follows the IEEE-568B wiring standard. If even one pin is poorly crimped, the high-bandwidth HDMI signal will fail to transmit even if a basic network tester shows continuity.
