Restoring your fan’s speed has never been easier! Our 450V 4-Pin Fan Capacitors are the premium solution for ceiling fans, wall fans, and small AC motors. Unlike standard 2-wire models, the 4-pin (dual-terminal) design allows for multiple connection points, making it a perfect fit for complex wiring looms or professional repair jobs where speed and security are paramount.
Precision-engineered for optimal motor torque:
1.5uF / 2uF: Standard for smaller wall fans and desk fans.
2.5uF / 3uF: The most common values for residential 48" to 56" ceiling fans.
4uF: Heavy-duty rating for larger exhaust fans and high-torque motor starts.
Ceiling Fans: Perfect for resolving "low speed" issues or motors that hum but won't rotate.
Exhaust Fans: Maintain strong airflow in kitchens and bathrooms with a stable motor run.
AC Motor Repair: A reliable starting component for various small household appliances.
Industrial Fans: The 450V rating provides the heavy-duty overhead needed for continuous operation.
4-Pin Dual-Terminal Design: Features two pins on each side (internally connected), allowing you to bridge connections or plug in multiple wires without soldering.
Superior CBB61 Film Technology: Metallized polypropylene film provides a self-healing function, ensuring the capacitor lasts longer under electrical stress.
High Voltage Overhead: Rated at 450V AC, it easily outperforms 250V alternatives by offering better protection against power surges and voltage spikes.
Flame-Retardant Casing: The rugged plastic "box" shell is moisture-proof and built to withstand the heat of a motor housing.
"Plug-and-Play" Convenience: The pin terminals are compatible with standard female spade connectors for a fast, tool-free swap.
Buzz-Free Operation: High-stability internal components eliminate electrical vibration and motor humming.
Industry Standard Fit: The compact, square profile is designed to slide into standard fan canopy brackets effortlessly.
Model: CBB61
Voltage Rating: 450V AC
Connection Type: 4-Pin (Two terminals per side)
Do I need to use all 4 pins?
No. You only need to use one pin on each side to complete the circuit. The extra pins are there for convenience if your fan has multiple wires that need to be joined together.
Can I replace a 2-wire capacitor with this 4-pin version?
Yes. As long as the uF value matches and you have the correct spade connectors or are able to solder to the pins, the electrical function is identical.
What if my original was 250V?
It is perfectly safe (and often better) to use a 450V capacitor to replace a 250V one. It provides a much better safety margin against overheating and failure.
