Bring your appliances back to life with our High-Quality 100V NP (Non-Polarized) ST-Series Capacitors. These bipolar electrolytic capacitors are specifically engineered for applications where polarity reversal occurs, making them the perfect "fix" for sluggish fans and distorted audio crossovers. With their distinct color-coded housings, they are a favorite among technicians for quick identification and reliable performance.
2.2uF: Standard replacement for small fan motor speed regulation.
3.3uF: High-precision motor run capacitor.
4.7uF (Black): Specialized black-casing variant for high-stability circuits.
68uF (Blue): Large capacity blue-casing variant, ideal for mid-range audio filtering and heavier motor starting.
Ceiling & Desk Fans: Replace the capacitor to fix "slow start" issues or restore original factory speeds.
Audio Crossover Networks: Use in passive speaker crossovers to ensure clean signal separation for tweeters and mid-range drivers.
Air Conditioners & Vent Fans: Excellent for small auxiliary motors that require an NP (Non-Polarized) start/run cap.
DIY Electronics: A versatile component for any AC circuit where a standard polarized capacitor would fail.
Non-Polarized (Bipolar): No "+" or "-" markings! These can be installed in either direction, ensuring safety in AC or polarity-reversing applications.
ST-Series Reliability: Built for better heat dissipation and long-term capacitance stability compared to standard grade components.
Low Leakage Current: Designed to maintain circuit efficiency and prevent energy waste in motor-run scenarios.
Radial Lead Design: Standard pin spacing for easy soldering onto PCB boards or direct wiring inside motor housings.
Enhanced Durability: The 100V rating provides a significant safety margin for standard 12V-48V electronic systems and fan regulators.
Audio Grade Performance: Known for low distortion, these are often used as budget-friendly upgrades in vintage speaker repairs.
Distinct Color Identification: The Black (4.7uF) and Blue (68uF) options allow for easy visual sorting in your repair kit.

What is the difference between NP and polarized capacitors?
Standard (polarized) capacitors can explode if connected backwards. NP (Non-Polarized) capacitors, like these, are designed to work with AC current and can be connected in any direction safely.
Can I use a 4.7uF Black to replace a different colored 4.7uF?
Yes. As long as the uF (capacitance) and V (voltage) match or exceed the original, the color of the housing is usually just a manufacturer's series identifier.
My fan is still slow after replacing the capacitor. Why?
If a new capacitor doesn't fix the speed, the motor bearings may need lubrication or the motor windings may be damaged. However, the capacitor is the most common and easiest first-fix!
