Achieve professional results without specialized tools using the Connectivity Series. This BNC Male Twist-On Plug is specifically engineered for RG59U coaxial cables. It is the definitive solution for quick field repairs and DIY security camera installations, allowing for a secure, high-quality connection in seconds.
Zero Tools Required: No crimper or soldering iron needed. The internal threading grips the cable jacket and shield firmly as you twist.
Perfect for RG59U: Precision-sized to fit the exact diameter of standard RG59U coaxial cables, ensuring a snug and electrically sound fit.
High-Conductivity Center Pin: Features a gold-plated or high-grade nickel center contact to maintain maximum signal integrity for analog and HD video.
Reusable Design: Unlike crimp-on connectors, these can be carefully untwisted and reused if you need to re-terminate the cable or move the equipment.
CCTV Maintenance: Quickly replace broken connectors on security cameras without carrying a heavy toolkit up a ladder.
Home Security DIY: The easiest way for homeowners to terminate their own surveillance cables for a clean, pro-look.
Emergency Field Repairs: An essential "spare part" for any technician's bag for fixing signal drops on-site.
Analog Video Setups: Ideal for linking older VCRs, monitors, or signal splitters using RG59 cabling.
Product Type: BNC Male Twist-On Connector
Cable Compatibility: RG59 / RG59U (75Ω)
Included: 1x BNC Twist-On Plug
1. Is it as strong as a crimped connector? For permanent, high-vibration industrial sites, a crimp is preferred. However, for standard indoor or residential CCTV, a properly installed twist-on connector provides an excellent, stable signal.
2. Will this work with RG6 cable? No. RG6 is thicker than RG59. If you try to force this onto an RG6 cable, you may damage the internal threads. Please use the EMX RG6-Specific Twist-On model instead.
3. My video is flickering; what's wrong? Ensure that none of the tiny braided shield wires are touching the center copper core. This "short circuit" is the most common cause of video loss in DIY installations.
