1. Why is there no sound after I plug it in?

Most often, this is because the tiny clear plastic protective caps are still on the ends of the cable. Ensure you remove these caps from both ends before inserting the cable into your devices.

2.  Can I bend this cable around sharp corners?

While the PVC jacket is flexible, fiber optic cables should not be bent at sharp 90-degree angles, as this can crack the internal glass/plastic fiber. Always use gentle curves when routing.

3. Does this support Dolby Atmos?

Toslink supports compressed Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1/7.1. For "Object-Based" audio like Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, you should use an  HDMI 2.1 cable, as optical bandwidth is limited to standard surround formats.
