Kitchen Story Sdn. Bhd. completed this kitchen cabinet project at Aspen Residence, Jelutong, George Town, Penang, with a focus on creating a clean, bright and easy-to-maintain kitchen space. The client wanted a simple modern kitchen that would look neat, spacious and practical for daily use, without heavy colours or complicated detailing.
For this project, we designed and built a full-height kitchen cabinet layout using crystal white glass doors for the entire kitchen cabinet. This finish gives the kitchen a sleek, reflective and premium appearance while also making the surface easier to wipe and maintain. To complete the clean design direction, we paired the cabinet with a white sintered stone countertop, giving the kitchen a consistent bright tone with better durability for daily cooking and preparation.
The kitchen is equipped with a stainless steel undermount sink and stainless steel dish rack, providing a practical washing and drying zone that blends well with the overall modern white concept. For cabinet fittings, we used DTC soft-closing door hinges, BLUM drawer systems and BLUM Aventos lift-up fittings, ensuring smoother movement, better functionality and improved long-term usability.

The main challenge was to create a kitchen that looked very clean and bright without making the space feel plain or unfinished. A fully white kitchen can look premium when properly detailed, but it can also expose poor alignment, uneven gaps and low-quality finishing more easily.
Another challenge was maximising storage while keeping the kitchen visually light. Since the design used full-height cabinets, the cabinet proportions, door gap lines and appliance areas needed to be carefully planned to avoid a bulky appearance.
We proposed crystal white glass doors to achieve a smooth, glossy and easy-to-clean surface. This helped reflect light and make the kitchen feel brighter, which is suitable for condominium kitchen spaces in Jelutong and George Town.
The white sintered stone countertop was selected to support the clean design theme while offering a practical work surface for daily use. We also included stainless steel fittings such as the undermount sink and dish rack to improve hygiene, durability and maintenance.
For better daily functionality, we used BLUM drawer systems and BLUM Aventos for smoother drawer and lift-up cabinet operation. The DTC soft-closing hinges help reduce impact during door closing and improve the overall user experience.
The completed kitchen at Aspen Residence presents a clean, modern and practical white kitchen design. The combination of crystal white glass doors, white sintered stone countertop and premium cabinet fittings creates a bright and low-maintenance kitchen that suits modern condominium living in Jelutong, George Town, Penang.
