Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 100 /mg atenolol, a cardioselective beta-blocker.
• Excipients: Includes lactose monohydrate (101.75 /mg per tablet).
• Formulation: White, circular, biconvex, uncoated tablets with ‘FIL’ engraved above the score line and ‘100’ below the score line on one side.

Indications

• Hypertension: Used to lower high blood pressure.
• Angina Pectoris: Helps in the management of chest pain.
• Cardiac Arrhythmias: Assists in controlling irregular heartbeats.
• Post-Myocardial Infarction: Aids in the secondary prevention of heart attacks.

Instructions for Use

• Dosage:
  • Hypertension: Start with 50–100 /mg once daily.
  • Angina Pectoris: 100 /mg once daily or 50 /mg twice daily.
  • Cardiac Arrhythmias: 50–100 /mg once daily.
  • Post-Myocardial Infarction: 100 /mg once daily for up to 10 days.
• Administration: Take with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
• Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose. Do not double doses.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and out of reach of children.
