Content

• Active Ingredient: Each tablet contains 50 mg lamotrigine, an anticonvulsant and mood-stabilising agent.
• Pharmaceutical Form: Film-coated tablet.

• Epilepsy:
  • Adjunctive treatment for partial seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, and Lennox-Gastaut syndrome in adults and children aged 2 years and above.
  • Conversion to monotherapy in adults with partial seizures who are on carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone, or valproate as a single antiepileptic drug.
• Bipolar Disorder:
  • Maintenance treatment to delay the occurrence of mood episodes in patients with bipolar disorder.

• Dosage:
  • The dosage of lamotrigine varies based on age, medical condition, and other medications being taken.
• Administration:
  • Take the tablet orally with or without food.
  • Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew, crush, or break it.
  • To help remember, take it at the same time each day.
• Missed Dose:
  • If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it's almost time for your next dose.
  • Do not take two doses at once to make up for a missed dose.
• Discontinuation:
  • Do not stop taking lamotrigine without consulting your doctor, as sudden discontinuation may worsen your condition.
