Content: Each film-coated tablet contains 10mg of dydrogesterone.
Indications: Duphaston is used for various conditions related to progesterone deficiency, including:
Dysmenorrhoea (painful periods)
Endometriosis
Secondary amenorrhoea (absence of menstruation)
Irregular menstrual cycles
Dysfunctional uterine bleeding
Premenstrual syndrome (PMS)
Threatened and habitual abortion
Infertility due to luteal insufficiency
Luteal support in assisted reproductive technology (ART)
Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in women with an intact uterus
Administration: Take the tablet orally with water.
Dosage: The dosage varies depending on the condition being treated:
Dysmenorrhoea: 10mg twice daily from day 5 to day 25 of the menstrual cycle.
Endometriosis: 10mg two to three times daily from day 5 to day 25 of the cycle, or continuously.
Secondary Amenorrhoea: 10mg daily for 14 days during the second half of the menstrual cycle.
Irregular Cycles: 10mg daily from day 11 to day 25 of the cycle.
Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding: 10mg twice daily for 5–7 days.
Premenstrual Syndrome: 10mg twice daily starting from day 11 to day 25 of the cycle.
Threatened Abortion: Initially, 4 tablets, followed by 1 tablet every 8 hours until symptoms remit.
Habitual Abortion: 10mg twice daily until the 20th week of pregnancy.
Infertility Due to Luteal Insufficiency: 10mg daily from day 14 to day 25 of the cycle.
Hormone Replacement Therapy: 10mg daily during the second half of the menstrual cycle.
