During her classical piano studies, she majored under the tutelage of Dr. Khoo Khe Sin. In 2022, following a hand injury, she transitioned her major to classical voice under the guidance of Mr. Ian Lim Kean Seng, where she achieved Trinity Grade 8 Singing in two years. Her vocal journey has also brought significant accomplishments as a choir member, including the Golden Diploma & Winner of the Group at the Vietnam International Choir Competition (Hoi An, 2023) and Champion Choir at the 17th China International Chorus Festival (Beijing, 2024).
As an educator, Yee Tung is equally committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians. Her students have participated in various piano competitions and have shone on international stages, including reaching the final round of the International Rising Stars Arts Festival & Competition in Vietnam (2025).
Beyond performance and teaching, Yee Tung actively participates in piano pedagogy conferences and advocates for pianist wellness, with a strong focus on reducing playing-related musculoskeletal disorders (PRMDs) among piano students. Guided by her belief in lifelong growth, she is committed to fostering both artistic excellence and healthy musicianship in her students.
