Bachelor of Early Childhood Education UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 4-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur ― designed to develop professional early childhood educators with strong foundations in child development, special and inclusive education, curriculum planning, teaching practice and leadership in early childhood settings.

The curriculum spans child development, introduction to special education, play and development, music and movement, early childhood mathematics and science, inclusive education, program planning and teaching strategies, assessment of learning, health nutrition and safety, teaching practice at nursery and kindergarten levels, leadership and early childhood management, policy and legal literacy, research projects and programme electives ― supported by educational psychology, educational development in Malaysia and student holistic empowerment courses.

Graduates are equipped for careers as Early Childhood Educator, Kindergarten Teacher, Child Development Specialist, Special Education Teacher, Curriculum Developer, Early Childhood Education Administrator, Program Planner, Play Therapist and Educational Consultant ― or to pursue postgraduate study at University Malaya.
