COURSE OBJECTIVES
The This training program equips participants with the knowledge to identify and categorize distinct noise patterns, including steady, fluctuating, and impulse noise, while providing a deep understanding of the comprehensive legal requirements and employer obligations mandated under the Occupational Safety and Health (Noise Exposure) Regulations 2019. Moving beyond foundational awareness, participants will master the technical interpretation of audiograms and the identification of a Standard Threshold Shift (STS), specifically learning how to calculate average shifts at the critical frequencies of 2000, 3000, and 4000 Hz. Ultimately, the session ensures full operational compliance by enabling participants to expertly manage the selection, proper usage, and long-term maintenance of Hearing Protection Devices (HPD).

This course is designed for Safety and Health Officers, Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator, Site Supervisors, Production Managers, Maintenance Personnel, and any employees exposed to daily noise levels exceeding the 82dB(A) action level.
