EP020-020N Filter Element
The EP020-020N is commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic systems to filter impurities from oil or air. Featuring a filtration rating of 20 microns, it offers excellent properties such as corrosion resistance, high-temperature tolerance, and high-pressure resistance. It is widely applied in industrial equipment, including excavators and hydraulic power units.
Common applications include:
Hydraulic Oil Filtration: In construction machinery (e.g., excavators), it protects hydraulic components from damage caused by contaminants like iron or copper filings.
Lubricating Oil Filtration: In power plants and steel mills, it is used in lube oil circulation systems to ensure oil cleanliness.
Pneumatic System Filtration: Acting as part of a pre-module duplex filter, it is used to purify compressed air.
Maintenance Guidelines:
When changing the hydraulic oil, all relevant filter elements (such as return filters and suction filters) must be replaced simultaneously. Ensure the use of the correct grade of hydraulic oil and avoid mixing different types, which can lead to oil deterioration. During installation, it is critical to bleed the air from the system to prevent damage to the main pump.
