It works on all metals without the need for a surface activator or primer – including passive substrates like stainless steel, aluminum and plated surfaces – and can cure through light coatings of corrosion-prevention oils and cutting fluids without needing to clean the surfaces prior to application. The lock might be permanent, but it can still be disassembled: simply heat to 300°C (572°F) and remove while still hot.
