TURMOTEMP LP 2502 is a premium high temperature PFPE grease formulated for long-term lubrication of rolling bearings operating under continuous thermal stress, especially in corrugating and film-stretching applications. It is based on perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base oil and lithium special soap thickener, delivering stable performance from -30°C to +250°C with excellent wear and corrosion protection.
PFPE base oil with lithium special soap thickener for long-term thermal stability.
Service temperature range: -30°C to +250°C, suitable for high temperature bearing zones.
High base oil viscosity: approx. 250 mm²/s at 40°C and 26 mm²/s at 100°C for robust lubrication films.
NLGI 2 consistency (DIN 51818) for easy handling and reliable retention in bearings.
Very high load-carrying capacity: Four-ball test (VKA) 5500 N / 6000 N, helping reduce bearing wear under high loads.
Provides outstanding protection in cylindrical, spherical, taper roller and angular contact ball bearings.
Emcor corrosion test 0–0 – strong resistance against moisture-related corrosion.
Chemically neutral towards elastomers, non-ferrous and ferrous metals – helps simplify material selection.
Miscible with all commercially available PFPE greases, simplifying changeover and consolidation of PFPE products.
Can be removed with commercial cold cleaners without CFC, supporting safer maintenance procedures.
Homogeneous, creamy, light beige grease for easy visual identification during application.
Density approx. 1.7 g/cm³ – important for accurate lubricant quantity calculation (especially in centralized systems).
Single consistency grade suitable for both initial greasing and relubrication, simplifying inventory and specification.
Designed for continuous operation above 120°C and up to 250°C, ideal for corrugator hot sections and heated zones in Malaysian paper, film and textile plants.
Maintains stable consistency and film strength under prolonged heat, reducing grease purge and re-greasing frequency.
High load and antiwear performance help minimise spalling and raceway damage in critical bearings.
Long-term lubrication capability supports extended service intervals, reduction in unplanned stoppages, and lower overall maintenance cost.
Specifically developed as corrugator roller grease for high-temperature corrugating rollers in cardboard production.
Supports smooth operation of chain return wheels, return roller bearings and load rollers in film stretching machines, even at elevated temperatures.
Compatible with common PFPE greases, reducing risk when topping up from existing PFPE-based products.
Cleaning with non-CFC cold cleaners simplifies shutdown work and supports environmental and safety compliance.
TURMOTEMP LP 2502 is recommended for high temperature, long-term lubrication points in:
Corrugating rollers in cardboard and paperboard production lines
Chain return wheels and return roller bearings exposed to high radiant or process heat
Load rollers in film stretching machines (plastic film production)
Textile stenters and tenter frames, particularly in heated zones
Low-speed electric motors running at elevated ambient or process temperatures
With a speed factor (n × dm) up to 300,000, it is suitable for many low to medium speed bearings where high temperature reliability is critical.

1. What makes TURMOTEMP LP 2502 different from standard high temperature greases?
TURMOTEMP LP 2502 uses PFPE base oil instead of mineral or PAO oils, providing very high thermal stability, low volatility and excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 250°C, along with strong wear and corrosion protection.
2. Can it be mixed with other greases?
It is miscible with all commercially available PFPE greases. Mixing with non-PFPE greases is not recommended, as it can reduce performance and temperature capability.
3. How should bearings be prepared before switching to TURMOTEMP LP 2502?
All lubrication points should be thoroughly cleaned to remove old grease and contaminants. TURMOTEMP LP 2502 greases can be cleaned using commercial cold cleaners without CFC, so no special aggressive solvents are required.
4. Is TURMOTEMP LP 2502 suitable for high-speed bearings?
The recommended speed factor is n × dm up to 300,000, making it suitable for low to medium speed bearings. For very high-speed bearings, a dedicated high-speed PFPE grease should be evaluated.
5. How often should relubrication be done in corrugators?
Relubrication intervals depend on bearing design, load, speed, and local temperature profile. As a high temperature long-term corrugator roller grease, TURMOTEMP LP 2502 generally allows extended intervals versus conventional greases; final intervals should be validated through on-site trials under Malaysian operating conditions.
