Load, Review and Combine Multiple Scan Files

With UTmap, the user can load multiple C-Scan files into the same review window and combine them into a single set of results.

This allows users to assess an inspected item rather than multiple individual areas.

Combined data sets can be saved as a UTmap file containing all the individual data files used in the review.

Correct the Position of Scan Lines

UTmap enables users to manually position each scan, even if that scan contains multiple lines. UTmap shows each scan line individually so they can be placed exactly where they need to be.

Adjust Scan Parameters of All Files

Changes of gate positions can be applied to all data files at the same time; this saves time from adjusting every file individually and ensures parameters are uniform across all scans.

Load Images into the Results

UTmap allows users to import images of the part or design diagrams to be loaded into the software.

The images can be used for easy reference for aligning scans or overlayed onto the results to show the exact location of indications on the part.

Annotations for Automatic Defect Sizing

Annotation boxes can be used to ascertain the location and total area of individual or grouped defects.

Placing an annotation box over the full scan area will dynamically highlight the location of defects within the chosen range and the total cumulative area of those defects for inspecting disbonding, laminations and corrosion; this is a powerful tool for technicians.

Report and CSV Generation

Reporting data can be the most important part of an inspection, requiring information to be clearly and accurately conveyed to the client.

UTmap allows users to generate a PDF report that includes all inspection and calibration data and details any discontinuities highlighted with annotations along with the dimensions.

UTmap can export the full file or cropped data areas into CSV format for use in calculation and evaluation systems used by end users when needed.
