 Technical Overview

RUBASIA Rubber Bush & Coupling Bush are precision-engineered vibration isolation components designed to connect moving mechanical parts while minimizing noise, vibration, and mechanical shock.

Each bush integrates a high-grade elastomer compound bonded to machined steel or stainless-steel sleeves under controlled temperature and pressure through vulcanization bonding technology.
This ensures superior adhesiondimensional accuracy, and durability under cyclic load conditions in tropical, humid, and corrosive environments such as Sabah, Sarawak, and Brunei.

 Installation & Fitment Guidelines

  1. Press-Fit Mounting:
    • Interference fit of 0.1–0.2 mm between outer sleeve and housing bore.
    • Use hydraulic or arbor press; avoid hammering to prevent bonding damage.
  2. Axial Preload:
    • Recommended pre-compression: 2–5% of rubber length for dynamic isolation.
  3. Orientation:
    • Align bush in neutral position before tightening bolts to prevent torsional preload.
  4. Lubrication:
    • Dry fit only. No lubrication between rubber and metal sleeves.
  5. Inspection Interval:
    • Every 12 months or 5000 operating hours for high-load applications.
