HYDROTITE HYDROPHILIC CHLOROPRENE RUBBER WATERSTOP

Description 

Hydrotite Hydrophilic Chloroprene Rubber Waterstop used to seal concrete construction joints against water leakage. It combines an expanding blue hydrophilic section and a non-expanding black chloroprene rubber section, designed so that expansion occurs across the joint to form a tight compression seal. When exposed to water, Hydrotite expands up to eight times its volume and changes from dark blue to light blue, allowing visual inspection for premature expansion. It can withstand water pressure up to 50 metres and is widely used in both water-retaining and water-excluding structures. A delay coating prevents early expansion during concrete pouring. Hydrotite can shrink when dry and re-expand when exposed to moisture again, maintaining effectiveness through repeated wet and dry cycles. It is known for being durable, cost-effective, and easy to install, ensuring long-term joint integrity in concrete construction.
