How to Install – Lorry Back Bumper Rubber Fender Truck Protector Rubber
Tools & Materials Required:
- Drill machine with concrete/metal bits
- Measuring tape & marker pen
- Bolts, nuts, and washers (galvanized or stainless steel recommended)
- Wrench or spanner set
- Safety gloves & goggles

Step-by-Step Installation
1 Measure & Mark the Position
- Identify the installation area on the lorry rear frame or loading dock wall.
- Use a measuring tape to mark the exact center alignment.
- Ensure the bumper rubber fender is installed at the correct height to absorb lorry impact.
2 Drill Mounting Holes
- Place the fender in position and mark the hole points.
- Drill holes into the truck frame (for lorry installation) or concrete/steel structure (for dock installation).
- Hole size should match the bolt diameter for a secure fit.
3 Position the Rubber Fender
- Place the 80mm x 80mm x 200mm rubber bumper against the mounting surface.
- Align it carefully to avoid uneven installation.
4 Insert Bolts & Washers
- Secure the fender with galvanized bolts, nuts, and washers.
- Use washers to distribute pressure and prevent rubber tearing.
- Tighten evenly with a wrench or spanner.
5 Check Alignment & Stability
- Ensure the rubber bumper sits flush against the surface.
- Test stability by applying pressure or a small impact.
- Retighten bolts if required.
6 Final Inspection
- Confirm that the fender is securely fixed.
- Check clearance with loading dock or wall.
- Test with slow lorry docking to ensure maximum impact absorption.
