In some cases, it can even reduce or remove viral contamination. The diameter specification of 0.3 micrometers corresponds to the most penetrating particle size (MPPS), meaning particles smaller or larger than this are captured with even higher efficiency. The filter uses microfiber glass media, ensuring efficiency according to published performance values, and it is resistant to moisture, making it suitable for high-humidity environments.
