Degradable stretch film is 100% degradable and ultimately biodegradable. With the incorporation of TDPA (Totally Degradable Plastic Additives) film will ultimately break down to harmless biomass, water and CO2 after a year in landfill.
Degradable stretch film is manufactured using technology that does not alter the physical properties and performance characteristics of the film and is indistinguishable in look, weight and performance from regular stretch wrap.
Degradable Stretch film degrades in natural light and ambient landfill temperature (>30 degrees). This will lead to disintegration after just a few months.
