An SMS Coupling (Swedish Milk Standard Coupling) is a hygienic, quick-connect fitting designed for sanitary process lines in the food, beverage, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries.

Main Components
Male Part – a plain-ended pipe spigot.
Female Part – a nut with an internal recess to receive the male part.

Connection Method
The male and female parts are brought together with a sealing gasket in between.
The threaded nut on the female part is tightened by hand to create a secure, hygienic seal.
