HOW TO USE ZINXER EPOXY TILES FLAKES FINISH:
Step 1: The bathroom floor tiles must be thoroughly cleaned to ensure there is no grease or chemical anti-slip coating. If necessary, use a grinder to remove any residual chemical substances previously applied. After cleaning, allow the area to ventilate and leave it until the next day to ensure it is completely dry before starting the work.
Step 2: After cleaning, wait until the next day for the floor to dry.Before construction, seal the drain holes and the edges of the toilet with tape.Open the primer and add the hardener, then stir for about 10 seconds.When applying the primer, the work must be completed within 30 minutes.
Step 3: When applying the primer and spreading the flake powder, it is recommended for two people to work at the same time — one applying the primer and the other evenly spreading the flake powder. A 4-inch wool paint roller must be used, applying up to 2 inches up the sides to prevent water leakage.
Step 4: After the primer and flake application is completed, use a plastic broom to sweep up the excess flake powder. It is recommended to use large sheets of coarse sandpaper to lightly sand the surface to prevent any standing flakes that could cut the feet. Then wait for 4 hours, ensuring the area is well-ventilated.
Step 5: Finally, mix the topcoat and hardener, then stir for 10 seconds. Evenly apply the mixture over the surface of the flakes. Since the flakes will absorb the coating, the topcoat should be applied more thickly. After applying the topcoat, leave it until the next day before using the bathroom.
Step 6: 1 liter of epoxy tile flake finish is normally only sufficient for an area of 25–30 square feet. It is recommended to use 1.5 kg of flake powder.
