Active Ingredient: Atrazine 45% w/w
Formulation: Flowable concentrate (FW)
Type: Selective pre- and post-emergence herbicide
Target Use: Effective against broadleaf weeds and some grasses
Crops Registered: Corn (jagung), sugarcane (tebu), and pineapple (nanas).
Pre-emergence application – applied to soil to prevent weed seed germination.
Early post-emergence application – controls young weeds soon after emergence.
Suitable for:
Corn (Jagung) – maintains weed-free growth during early stages.
Sugarcane (Tebu) – improves crop establishment by reducing weed competition.
Pineapple (Nanas) – selective weed control to support healthy crop development.
Atrazine is a systemic herbicide absorbed mainly through roots and to a lesser extent via foliage.
Inhibits photosynthesis in weeds, causing yellowing, wilting, and eventual death.
Provides residual soil activity for extended weed control.
General Dosage (field use):
2–3 L per hectare (depending on weed density & soil type).
Knapsack Sprayer (16L):
Typically 20–30 ml per 16L water for spot or band spraying.
Apply evenly over soil or directly on young weeds.
Works best on moist soil conditions after rain or light irrigation.
Selective herbicide – safe for corn, sugarcane, and pineapple if used at recommended rates.
Avoid application on non-target crops (high risk of phytotoxicity).
Do not apply on sandy soils with low organic matter (risk of leaching).
Wear PPE (gloves, mask, protective clothing).
Do not contaminate waterways with spray mix or containers.
