Beamotil Tablet is indicated for:
Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea.
Adjunctive therapy to fluid and electrolyte replacement.
Reducing stool frequency and fluidity in patients with colostomies or ileostomies.
Dosage:
Adults: Initially, 5 mg (2 tablets) 4 times daily.
May reduce to 5 mg daily once satisfactory control is achieved.
Maximum: 20 mg (8 tablets) daily.
Administration:
Swallow tablets whole with water.
Do not chew, crush, or break tablets.
Storage:
Store in a dry place below 30°C.
Protect from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
