The OPTITEMP TFA-100 is a temperature field indicator for transmitting and indicating of temperature readings in demanding industrial environments. It can be smoothly combined with any head-mounted temperature transmitter such as the OPTITEMP TT 33 C, OPTITEMP TT 51 C or OPTITEMP TT 53 C to build a remote field-mounted temperature transmitter. The field indicator comes with rugged aluminium or stainless steel housing to withstand the harshest conditions including moisture, corrosive or abrasive atmospheres. Its IP68 rated design also makes the field housing a perfect fit for open air applications exposed to heavy rain or flooding.
The built-in backlight of its high-contrast LCD display provides enhanced visibility in dimly lit conditions or in direct sunlight, allowing remote and safe monitoring and reading of temperature measurements. The display can be remotely configured via NFC and the KROHNE OPTICHECK Temperature Mobile app or alternatively via push buttons on the display module. The field indicator offers a wide range of functionalities and different modes such as range setting, filter and display update time, error mode, input calibration, peak memory or a display test. The display module of the field indicator can be loop powered via the 4...20 mA current loop of the temperature transmitter. OPTITEMP TFA-100 therefore does not require a separate power supply.
