The Brake Motors Series result from coupling an asynchronous three-phase motor to an electromagnetic DC brake unit. Due to their reliability and operating safety, as well as their quick braking time (connection and disconnection time = 5 to 80 milliseconds), this series of motors is suitable for a great variety of applications, such as braking loads or torques on the drive shaft, reducing lost time by braking rotating masses, increasing set-up precision through braking operations, and braking operation in accordance with safety rules.
