Griseofulvin

Indication

Hovid Griseofulvin is used for treating fungal infections of the scalp, body, foot (athlete's foot), nails, thigh (jock itch), or hair follicles (barber's itch). Hovid Griseofulvin is an antifungal agent. It works by making the skin more resistant to fungal growth.

Instruction

Use Hovid Griseofulvin as directed by your doctor!

• Take Hovid Griseofulvin by mouth with or without food.
• To clear up your infection completely, use Hovid Griseofulvin for the full course of treatment. Keep using it even if you feel better in a few days.
• If you miss a dose of Hovid Griseofulvin, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Drug interaction

There are some medicine that may interact with Hovid Griseofulvin such as barbiturate medicines for sleep or seizures, female hormones, like estrogens or progestins and birth control pills and warfarin.
