Overview

The Centari system is versatile and easy to use. With a single set of concentrated pigment pastes and a set of binders, you can prepare any type of solvent-borne paint

Properties

- Centari 600 features ease of application and accurate color matching.

- The fast drying product covers at a low layer thickness (10-20 μ), provides an even coating with an optimal arrangement of aluminum particles in metallics.

- The use of BK220 is recommended to improve the performance of the coating.

- Can be used for spot, panel and complete repairs.

- This coating is also recommended for polychromatic and various design work.

Substrates

- All DuPont factory coatings and primers

Base coat application Apply

2 full coats to well prepared surface. Flash between coats until matt. If necessary, after 1-2 minutes. after applying the last layer, spray on the hazy (smoky) layer.

Varnish application

DuPont varnishes are applied only after the Centari 600 basecoat is completely matt, but no later than 3 days.

Equipment cleaning

Use 3608S.

Repainting

Allowed if the surface can already be wiped clean with a tack rag cloth.

Theoretical spreading rate: 6-8 m2 / l ready to use, at the recommended layer thickness

Notes

- Centari MasterTint Pigment Pastes must be thoroughly mixed before weighing, Centari 600 must be thoroughly mixed immediately after manufacture.

- To improve the chip resistance of the coating and to improve adhesion / cohesion, it is recommended to add 10% BK220 to the paint before thinning.

- Before use, keep the material at room temperature (18-25 ° C).
