KUALA LUMPUR, 6 March 2026 — The Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Ministry of Home Affairs) has officially announced the cancellation of the previously set deadline for foreign worker quota applications.
In a notice issued by the ministry, the 31 March 2026 deadline for employers to submit foreign worker quota applications through the One Stop Centre for Foreign Worker Management (OSC KDN) has been revoked.
The ministry stated that the quota application process will now remain open without a fixed closing date, subject to the government’s current policies.
Previously, employers were required to submit their applications before the end of March 2026 under a case-by-case approval system handled by OSC KDN. However, with the cancellation of the deadline, companies can now continue to apply for foreign worker quotas without being restricted by the earlier timeline.
The ministry added that all applications will still be processed according to existing procedures and requirements set by the government.
For matters that require physical attendance at OSC KDN, employers and representatives can make appointments through the official online appointment system provided by the ministry.
Any further inquiries related to foreign worker quota applications can also be directed to OSC KDN via email at [email protected].
The announcement was issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on 6 March 2026.
