KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 27): Exsim Hospitality Bhd has clinched a RM21.9 million sub-contract to carry out interior fit-out works for a high-rise mixed commercial project located along Jalan Sultan Ismail in Kuala Lumpur.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly owned subsidiary, Exsim Concepto Sdn Bhd, accepted a letter of appointment from HAB Construction Sdn Bhd. The scope of work covers the supply and installation of interior fit-out works for serviced apartment units spanning Levels 7 to 46 of the 50-storey development.
Construction activities under the contract are already in progress, with completion targeted for Jan 2, 2028.
The project forms part of a prominent mixed-use commercial development in the Kuala Lumpur city centre, reinforcing ongoing demand for high-quality commercial property in KL, particularly within prime locations that integrate hospitality, residential, and office components.
Such developments also reflect broader market confidence in Malaysia’s real estate and construction sectors, which continue to support related demand across the Klang Valley. This includes sustained interest in office space in Bukit Jalil, expanding industrial operations requiring industrial land in Selangor, growing factory developments in Puchong, and established industrial property in the Subang area serving logistics and manufacturing activities.
On the market front, Exsim Hospitality shares ended Monday unchanged at 26.5 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM615.4 million. The stock has risen 15.2% year-to-date.
