Aka-Resin PP is a dust-free, polypropylene hot mounting resin developed for safe, efficient and routine sample preparation in metallographic laboratories. It is available in black, green, orange and red for easy identification of working groups, shifts or sample categories. Its low environmental impact, safe handling, low shrinkage, good adhesion and high flow make it a cost-efficient choice for routine mounting.
Black mineral-filled polypropylene resin for hot mounting. It is dust-free and provides low shrinkage, good adhesion and high flow for high-quality mounts.
Cure at 160–180°C and 250 bar using a high cooling rate.
If the mount is not fully cured, increase the curing time.
Parameters may vary depending on the mounting press used.
