PowerLogic ION7400 Advanced Utility Power Quality Meters
Schneider Electric PowerLogic ION7400 Series meters are advanced utility power quality and revenue-grade meters for transmission networks, distribution networks, substations, main incomers, utility feeders, end-feeder monitoring and critical electrical network points.
The ION7400 Series combines high-accuracy three-phase metering, power quality compliance, waveform capture, disturbance direction detection, digital fault recording, ION framework flexibility, multi-protocol communication and modular installation options. It is available in Essential, Standard and Advanced feature sets, with panel-mounted, DIN rail, remote-display, low-voltage DC, MID/MIR and RMICAN variants.

Product Overview
The PowerLogic ION7400 Series is designed for advanced utility metering and power quality monitoring. It is suitable for substations, grid interface points, main utility incomers, critical feeders, generator export points, renewable generation connections and high-value electrical distribution networks.
Unlike basic power meters, the ION7400 provides advanced diagnostics for power quality and network events. It supports power quality compliance monitoring, transformer and line loss compensation, instrument transformer correction, disturbance direction detection, ION framework customization, advanced logging and flexible communication with power monitoring software or SCADA systems.
Positioning: Use ION7400 where high-accuracy energy measurement, utility-grade power quality monitoring, feeder event analysis, revenue metering support and advanced communication flexibility are required.
Typical ION7400 Monitoring Architecture
ION7400 meters are installed at utility and critical electrical points. Data can be sent through Ethernet, onboard RS485, optional 4-wire RS485 or optional fiber Ethernet to EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert, Power Operation, SCADA, EMS, BMS, utility systems or IoTWatt 4.0.
