FBTU2X - Ultrasonic BTU Meter

Introduction

FBTU2X is a cost-effective Wall Mounted Ultrasonic Flow Meter with optional BTU (Heat Energy) measurement capabilities, designed for long-term flow and energy monitoring applications. Utilizing advanced transit-time ultrasonic technology, it provides highly accurate, non-invasive flow measurement without the need to cut pipes or interrupt operations, eliminating pressure loss and reducing installation costs.

Suitable for a wide range of liquids including potable water, chilled water, cooling water, chemicals, reclaimed water, raw sewage, river water, plant effluent, and ultra-pure liquids, the FBTU2X delivers reliable performance across industrial, commercial, and utility applications. With IP67 protection for the converter and IP68 protection for the transducer, it is built to withstand demanding environments while ensuring stable long-term operation.

Applications include HVAC energy management, district cooling systems, water treatment facilities, industrial process monitoring, utility metering, building management systems, and energy efficiency projects. When paired with optional Pt100 temperature sensors, the FBTU2X can perform accurate BTU and heat energy measurements for comprehensive energy monitoring.
