Heavy-Gauge Vertical Construction Risers must support their own weight and withstand high stack pressures. We use 1.6mm (16-gauge) black steel or stainless steel with continuous liquid-tight longitudinal welds to prevent grease seepage into building cavities.
Fire-Rated Shaft Integrity We ensure all risers are enclosed in fire-rated shafts or wrapped with 2-hour fire-rated ceramic blankets. This prevents a kitchen fire on one floor from spreading vertically to other levels of the building.

Vibration and Thermal Isolation We use heavy-duty spring hangers and thermal stand-offs to ensure the riser does not transfer mechanical noise or radiant heat into the building's structural walls or occupied spaces.
