Established on December 31, 1991 (formerly Inter Hydro Corporation Sdn Bhd), Musteq Hydro Sdn Bhd is a prominent Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Malaysia and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly listed Eden Inc. Berhad. The company successfully secured an IPP license in 1994 and signed a 30-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in 1997. Operating a state-of-the-art 20MW small run-of-river hydroelectric plant at Sungai Kenerong, Kuala Krai, Musteq Hydro plays a vital role in generating clean, renewable energy with minimal environmental impact until the current PPA concludes in 2027.
