Fiberglass tape is a woven insulating tape made from high-quality fiberglass yarn. It is lightweight, flexible, and designed to provide excellent thermal and electrical insulation. Commonly used for wrapping pipes, exhausts, cables, and high-temperature equipment, fiberglass tape resists heat, flame, oils, solvents, and most chemicals.
Temperature Resistance: Typically up to 550°C (1000°F) for continuous use, depending on grade.
Properties: Non-combustible, low thermal conductivity, good tensile strength, electrical insulation, and corrosion resistance.
Applications:
Pipe and duct insulation
Cable and wire wrapping
Exhaust and furnace sealing
High-temperature gasketing and joint reinforcement
