1. Select a tip with a rubber vacuum cup on a probe that is slightly smaller than the part you want to pick and place. Put the probe snugly on the tip of the Virtual Industries HANDI-VAC HV-X tool. Make sure that there is no dust on the rubber vacuum tip. NOTE: Our larger rubber vacuum cups can be placed directly on the Virtual Industries HANDI-VAC HV-X tip without using a probe.
2. Gently squeeze the Virtual Industries HANDI-VAC HV-X bulb, place the soft suction cup squarely on the pick-and place part, then relax your squeeze. The part is now firmly gripped.
3. Move the part to where you need it and a second squeeze the Virtual Industries HANDI-VAC HV-X bulb releases the part.
Applications for this tool include SMT parts, metal parts, plastic parts or any item having a smooth-nonporous-surface that the rubber vacuum tweezer tip can seal against. This Virtual Industries HANDI-VAC HV-X tool can be used with any of our rubber vacuum cups ranging in size from 3/32" (2.38mm) to 3/4" (19.05mm) in diameter.
