Main Uses

• Pra-cambah herbicide (pre-emergence): Applied to soil after crop planting but before weeds germinate.

• Controls:

  • Annual rumput (grasses)

  • Certain rumpai berdaun lebar (broadleaf weeds)

  • Some cyperus species (sedge weeds)

Typical Applications

• Tanaman jagung (maize) – to prevent grassy and broadleaf weeds during early crop growth.

• Kacang tanah (groundnut), kacang soya (soybean), kacang hijau (mungbean) – effective in controlling early-stage weeds that compete with seedlings.

• Kelapa sawit muda (young oil palm) – used in immature palm fields to reduce competition from weeds.

 How to Use

1. Apply evenly on soil surface immediately after planting (before crop or weed emergence).

2. Requires soil moisture or light rainfall/irrigation after spraying to activate the herbicide.

3. Provides residual control for several weeks, reducing the need for frequent spraying.

 Precautions

• Do not spray on crops that have already germinated (risk of injury).

• Avoid waterlogged soil – effectiveness reduces if soil is too wet.
