The story behind the creation of this iconic blend provided the inspiration for the new limited edition: Martell Cordon Bleu “100 eaux-de-vie in every drop”.
When renowned artist and illustrator Christoph Niemann visited Maison Martell in Cognac, he came away amazed by the complex savoir-faire involved in crafting cognac. In particular, he was fascinated by the fact that every glass of Martell Cordon Bleu contains over 100 different eaux-de-vie, each one crucial to recreating its legendary taste, which has remained unchanged since 1912.
For the Iconic Drops limited edition, he conveys his impressions through a striking design made up of dozens of drops – symbolising the eaux-de-vie – gradually transforming into the shape of a glass.
