Indications

Lomodium Capsule is indicated for:

• Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic diarrhea

• Chronic functional diarrhea

• Intestinal stoma leak

• Traveler's diarrhea

Instructions for Use

• Administration: For oral use only. Swallow the capsule whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the capsule. It is advisable to take this medication with or without food.

• Dosage:

  • Acute Diarrhea:

    • Adults: 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool. Do not exceed 8 capsules per day.

    • Children over 8 years: 1 capsule initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose stool. Do not exceed 6 capsules per day.

  • Chronic Diarrhea:

    • Adults: 2 capsules daily initially, adjusted to maintain normal stool consistency.

    • Children over 8 years: 1 capsule daily initially, adjusted as needed.

• Precautions:

  • Use with caution in patients with liver disorders; dose adjustment may be necessary.

  • Not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester.

  • Avoid use during breastfeeding; consult a doctor before use.

  • May cause dizziness or drowsiness; exercise caution when driving or operating machinery.

  • Avoid alcohol consumption, as it may enhance drowsiness
