Introduction to the Handheld Laser Methane Detector:
The handheld laser methane detector is a novel gas detection instrument developed based on the principle of Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS). Methane gas absorbs light at specific wavelengths. According to Beer-Lambert's law, the absorption intensity is directly proportional to the methane gas concentration. By measuring the absorption intensity, the device calculates methane concentration. The laser principle remains unaffected by external temperature, humidity, or pressure, is immune to interference from other gases, and exhibits no drift over extended use.

Detects gases up to 800°C. Higher-temperature detection available via customization (optional high-temperature sampling cooling filter handle or high-temperature/humidity pre-treatment system)
Free unit switching. No molecular weight input required for common gases; automatically calculates and switches for special gases requiring molecular weight input.
Selectable units: PPM, mg/m³, Vol%, LEL%, PPHM, ppb, mg/L
Three display modes: Simultaneous display of five gas concentrations, large-font cyclic display of single-channel gas concentration, real-time curve. Automatic or manual cycling between channels.
Configurable display of maximum/minimum values, gas names, and historical curve charts.
Selectable Chinese/English interface (default Chinese). Clear operation prompts in simplified Chinese or English for user-friendly operation across all age groups.
Data recovery function allows selective or full restoration, eliminating concerns over accidental operation errors.
Automatic zero tracking ensures long-term stability unaffected by zero drift.
Multi-level target point calibration guarantees linearity and accuracy of measurements, simultaneously meeting national standards and local metrology bureau requirements.
Automatic detection and prevention of calibration errors, mitigating human-induced inaccuracies.
Supports real-time or scheduled monitoring (for low gas concentrations). Pump can be deactivated during non-monitoring periods to extend operational lifespan.
Records calibration logs, maintenance history, and troubleshooting solutions. Includes sensor lifespan alerts and next calibration schedule reminders.
