Description

Maxiflex MY is improved cementitious adhesive with reduced slip and extended open time. It is a high strength

powdered adhesive for wall and floor applications. Suitable to use over concrete, cement render, screeds, fibrous cement sheeting and Bostik approved waterproof membranes. It is ideal for bonding most type of tiles, eg. monocottura, fully vitrified tile, natural stone, marble, granite, glass mosaic and reconstitutes stone, engineer stone, artificials stone and quartz.

Mixing Ratio : 25 kg powder into 6.0 to 6.5 litres of water

Pot Life : 2 hours

Tensile Strength : ≥ 1.0 MPa

After Immersion : ≥ 1.0 MPa

Heat Ageing : ≥ 1.0 MPa

Open Time at 30minutes : ≥ 0.5 MPa

Setting Time : 24 hours

Slip : ≤ 0.5 mm

Open Time : 30 minutes

LIMITATION

Not suitable for tiling directly onto timber substrates.

Not recommended for metal or plastic substrates.

GROUTING

Use appropriate Bostik tile grout. Allow joint widths of 1.5 mm to 6 mm for walls and 3 mm to 6 mm for floors as

per AS 3958.1-2007 clauses 5.4.6.
