Measurement: Measure the vertical or horizontal corner and cut the PVC bead to the required length using a fine-toothed saw or heavy-duty snips.
Positioning: Apply small "dabs" of mortar or adhesive along the corner of the substrate at 300mm intervals.
Alignment: Press the PVC bead firmly into the dabs. Use a spirit level to ensure the bead is perfectly plumb (vertical) and level (horizontal).
Securing: Allow the adhesive dabs to set. The large hexagonal perforations (16mm) allow the plaster to bond directly to the brickwork through the bead for maximum mechanical grip.
Substrate: 110mm Thick Brick or Concrete blocks.
Base Coat: 20mm Cement Plaster / Render.
Cleanliness: Ensure the brickwork or concrete surface is free from dust, oil, loose mortar, or any contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
Structural Integrity: Ensure the corner is structurally sound and any major protrusions are chipped away to allow the bead to sit flush.
