We recently wrapped up a large-scale installation (1000+ sqft!) of custom outdoor timber blinds across the staff quarters — combining durability, privacy, and daily practicality in one clean finish.
Why these timber blinds stand out:
Wired Slats – Not Cord Type!
Each timber slat is connected by metal wire, not soft cords — offering better alignment, no sagging, and strong performance for outdoor use.
Privacy for Women’s Accommodation
Effectively shields the rooms from outside view, while still allowing natural airflow.
Perfect for Laundry Use
Blinds can be easily lifted when drying clothes on hanging lines. More functional than fixed aluminium louvers.
Weather-Resistant Timber
We use properly coated real wood — not just spray-painted — ensuring long-lasting use under sun and rain.
Stable, Wind-Resistant Design
Each slat is held in place thanks to the wired structure — no more flapping or twisting in wind.
Neat Cord Management
We installed dedicated holders to secure the pulley cords —
When blinds are lifted: tie the cords safely to prevent swinging
When fully let down: keep cords neat and out of the way
