Appearance of Blue Golden BSH

Coat

• Undercoat: warm honey / apricot gold

• Tipping / pattern: soft grey-blue

• The contrast is gentler than NY11 (which has black tipping)

• Coat looks:

  • Misty golden

  • Slightly cooler tone than normal goldens

  • Very plush and thick (typical BSH coat)

Face & Eyes

• Large, round eyes

• Eye color: green → preferred in golden series

• Nose leather: brick red to pink, may have blue outline

• Paw pads: bluish grey or dark cream-blue

Body Structure (BSH Standard)

• Thick, solid, round “teddy bear” build

• Broad chest, fat cheeks, heavy bone

• Short dense coat like plush velvet

Temperament (Typical British Shorthair Personality)

• Calm, gentle, affectionate

• Not clingy but very loyal

• Quiet and easygoing

• Good with children and other pets

• Low–moderate energy (not hyperactive)

• Very independent but bonds strongly with their owner
