The Triplett Model SPLT400 Solar Irradiance Meter can be used for solar panel installation to help you determine where solar panels should be installed (irradiance, temperature, inclination, direction) for maximum efficiency.
Other applications include agriculture, meteorology, optical and physics laboratories, and high performance window manufacturing for automotive and building industries. It measures irradianance (W/m2) with a 300ms sampling rate utilizing a cosine corrected silicon photodiode sensor. It also provides Tilt (Inclination) measurement from -90° to 90°, compass function for direction, and switchable temperature measurement (°F/°C).
It can simultaneously display irradiance and temperature or tilt angle and compass. Data Hold freezes the display for easy viewing.
