~TASTING NOTES~
Appearance:Deep garnet-red in colour, reflecting its intensity and varietal purity.

Aroma:Ripe blackcurrant and cassis dominate the nose, complemented by rich notes of dark plum and a hint of violet. Subtler accents of cedar-oak, chocolate and fresh eucalyptus bring complexity. 

Palate:Full-bodied with generous dark-fruit flavours of blackberry and black cherry, underpinned by savoury earthy tones and fine oak spice. The tannins are firm yet polished, giving structure without being overly aggressive. For example, the 2018 vintage was described as having “silky tannins… red and dark fruit, plus a touch of cinnamon”.

Finish:A long and elegant finish, with lingering fruit, cedar oak and subtle spice. The overall impression is balanced, stylish and made to age gracefully.
